Thx again, this looks so cool! Really makes me look forward to doing more ui stuff in Godot

One of the main messages of those movies is that living in a huge diverse city is cool, and I agree!

Fwiw I enjoyed reading your takes, if more people wrote like this I think Id enjoy Bsky a lot more

Doesn’t this directly contradict your (and my) belief that current LLM’s aren’t conscious?
December 16, 2025 at 4:24 PM
Thx for all the work you do!
December 9, 2025 at 10:37 PM
Hey, this is really late, but I love the stuff you’re doing with this plugin!! is this still going to be released?

Ah yeah, I misread the tweet I replied to. Sorry for that.

I guess what I'm trying to say is: For me one of the biggest triumphs in OSS these past years has been the Blender UI overhaul, and that was accomplished by a small group of skilled people making big, opiniated changes. I think Godot would benefit from something similar.
November 5, 2025 at 8:13 PM
And I agree that a theme change isn't some big UX improvement, that's my point: this is a fairly small (but visible) change to the UI that as far as I can tell is liked pretty broadly. If a change like that is contentious, how are we going to make actual big changes to the UI that may be needed?
November 5, 2025 at 8:03 PM
Don't you think this is a pretty slanted framing? This assumes the people who prefer the new theme are a minority, whereas to the extent that we have any data (which I agree doesn't prove anything either way) it seems to indicate the opposite
November 5, 2025 at 7:58 PM
What process for making significant changes to the ui in the name of improving it would you prefer?

Godspeed
October 24, 2025 at 4:27 PM
What bloat has been added to the Godot codebase? (I honestly wouldn’t mind adding Skia if it meant we got better SVG support)
October 21, 2025 at 1:32 PM
Thx, cheered me up a little.

All of that gg shit was obviously the product of decades of grievances, had very little to do with him. And whatever you may accuse him of, you are just as bad: short-sighted, cruel, proudly uninformed.

I dont really care about Hasan, but if I dont find the initial video very convincing, what actual proof is there? Its a colar that can vibrate and shock, he says he uses it for vibration (which I think is also kinda evil but w/e)
October 15, 2025 at 9:54 AM
Does that mean you can’t really run Chrome either?
September 18, 2025 at 10:49 AM
Also she has the first annoying runback I think

I mean, she‘s the first non-optional boss that does 2 masks for a lot of people. Definitely felt like a spike (haha) for me

I like the game a lot, but there’s some fights where Hornet feels like Im driving a big car

I guess I just wish the people having the last word where a little clearer about Godot emphatically not becoming like Unity in many ways. Because a pretty large (and, in my opinion, growing) fraction of the people using the engine might be surprised to hear that.
July 10, 2025 at 11:00 PM
Ie, do you personally view Godot as a project with a direction set out a decade ago, which it will follow pretty closely? Or does it's focus depend in large part on what the majority of it's users, even if they only started using the engine a year ago, (think they) want.
July 10, 2025 at 6:28 PM
Okay, here's an earnest question, for my own clarification: If it turns out in a few years that 80% of Godot users are ex-unity users who want something closer to Unity, would that in itself, for you, be enough reason for the engine to go more in that direction?
July 10, 2025 at 6:22 PM
Like, what big rendering proposal could someone conceivably make that doesn’t fail either the “corner case” or “problem comes first” test?
