They are fun! I feel like the community is over-scared (is this even a word?) of them! Tons of people say that they could never do savage and honestly anyone can with enough practice.

On top of that if you have 2 monitors of different resolution it also makes a lot of weird behaviour

I think that the game is trying to tell you "choose one of these 3 routes" each with their advantages and disavantages.
and if you do that then sure, the time limit makes sense.
But the reality is that most player will always try to explore and loot everything making it just annoying.
