i'm so grateful for my partner and their family. events like what i'm going through feel life shattering and earth ending. but, my partner lost their dad to cancer a while back.

mom's cognitive abilities are slowly going and it's been so hard to watch. some days she's fine, but other days she doesn't make any sense.
