Already in Oxford & looking forward to this talk at Nuffield College on Nov 4.

I’m a bit skeptical that Oxford is eager to dissect the sources of the EU’s geopolitical power. Prove me wrong? Prove me wrong, please? If you’re around and we haven’t connected, DM me and let’s meet up.

Night train to Kyiv on the day that 🇺🇦 received the green light for accession negotiations from the EU Commission.
Why? Time to put to good use all the lessons learned from previous enlargement phases to support 🇺🇦 in its marathon path to 🇪🇺 membership. More soon about an epic project about to start.

A review for the Economist Intelligence Unit to highlight how well far-right parties are doing in Europe. If the trend continues, it will lead to a significant increase in seats in the 🇪🇺 Parliament after the 2024 elections. This will damage chances for a good EU foreign policy & enlargement. Brace!
