This whole brain rot, shitposting, skibidi toilet thing reminded me that in the early 00s two types of Internet slang were massively popular in Brazil: miguxês & tiopês. Those Internet vernaculars were criticised despite functioning as identitary and community markers (even if through irony) 🧵
