Oh. I’d like to know the circumstances and decision making behind these dismissals.
According to New Jersey court records, Veneziano was charged with operating under the influence of liquor or drugs, reckless and careless driving, and fugitive from justice in relation to a February 2025 incident in Point Pleasant, a borough on the Jersey Shore. All charges were later dismissed.

BREAKING NEWS CONSUMER'S HANDBOOK 1. In the immediate aftermath, news outlets will get it wrong. 2. Don't trust anonymous sources. 3. Don't trust stories that cite another news outlet as the source of the information. 4. There's almost never a second shooter. 5. Pay attention to the language the media uses. • "We are getting reports"... could mean anything. • "We are seeking confirmation".. means they don't have it. • "[News outlet] has learned".. means it has a scoop or is going out on limb. 6. Look for news outlets close to the incident. 7. Compare multiple sources. 8. Big news brings out the fakers. And photoshoppers. 9. Beware reflexive retweeting. Some of this is on you. Chelsea immigration attorney Andrew Lattarulo represents the boy, who WBUR is not naming due to his age. The hearing was streamed on video but the judge did not permit WBUR to observe it; Lattarulo said he requested that the hearing not be public to protect the child's privacy. After a two-hour proceeding, Judge Jason Braun ruled the boy can stay in the United States for now, but he must remain at the juvenile detention center in Winchester, Virginia until his case is heard again Nov. 5. "I fought as hard as I could, but at the end of the day, the judge is the decision maker," Lattarulo said. "I have to respect that."
