I miss OG dA so much, the community there used to be so robust and it was so easy to find the art you like. I wistfully miss art memes and OCTs so much, they were such a great way to engage and have fun with art friends. The old school dA UI is seriously under-rated and let us do so many fun things!

This is my rework of their first design for comic purposes so that I can get a good handle on it (ﾉ^ヮ^)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧

harmonious colour pallet you can try adding spot colour greens and browns to lean more natural tortoise colours, or violet if you want to go in the other direction. For beginners you can always reference other similar colour pallets to help you along your way!

The blues are nice, but you’re lacking contrast. Try adding some darker more saturated tones to accent the areas you want to have more attention. You can also add another colour to compliment the blue, orange is great for strong focused pops of colour like in the eyes, or if you want a more subdued

They got that minor illusion bard magic! But also mostly I want to draw their story as a comic at some point and this fool needs to be able to ✨express✨ This mask only smiles though! Gonna have a gag where they swap out masks when they need to drastically change expressions to other emotions.

I chew on them like a rabid chihuahua
