At the Calgary Stampede, animals continue to suffer for entertainment. At least 109 animals have died at the rodeo and chuckwagon races since 1986. The risk continues every year.

The VHS has released a report calling on Vancouver City Council to end horse racing at Hastings Racecourse.

14 horses have died at Hastings since 2023. The fatality rate is significantly higher than the industry average.

Odin is back home! ❤️

Thanks to the kindness and generosity of our community, Odin the cat was able to get urgent PU surgery to reshape his urethra, allowing him to urinate and prevent future blockages. He is now safely back home recovering with the love and support of his guardian, Milly.
