I grew up in small town Oregon and I’m fascinated by this breakdown. Trying to think of a place that has a large LDS population, but would send considerably more students to Eugene than Corvallis. A small town just outside Eugene like Cottage Grove? Or maybe suburban Portland?

I think there is still a good amount in San Timoteo Canyon, but nothing like it was back in the day.

Kibbie Dome is ready to welcome you the autumn of your choosing. A life goal for any architect I am sure.

My son asked to do a weekend trip to San Juan Island for his 13th birthday last year, so we could explore the historical site where the Pig War occurred. They fly the Union Jack at the English Camp, very disorienting while in Washington state!

I was glad I knew some old pitchers because who has a sub 3.00 ERA anymore? Score of 7.

I really enjoyed this one, especially because I got to use Army Cooper (who is NOT Andy Cooper). Score of 1.

Sofie, you have no idea who I am, but I have enjoyed following you since a certain pizza was delivered to Angel Stadium. Reach out if you make it north of the border and need a local guide/someone to have a beer with at the Nat!

Well, that’ll end Alaska’s hockey ambitions. Worth it to get the old Pac 10 back.

If not for shipping fees like this, how would the economies of Blaine and Point Roberts survive?

My family made it to Pipe Spring a number of years ago, and I learned there that the “Arizona Strip” is a thing. Never heard that term before! You always learn something at an NPS site.

In that photo Chris Nofo is about to pick the ball up and run directly at me (and the rest of the Vandal Marching Band) for a touchdown. What an amazing day!
