Added to my holiday book collection whilst away! Spent some time in Koggola and managed to get the folk museum there - so picked up on one of the few English copies of Buddhism and Culture by Martin Wickramasinghe that they had.

Even when the light is low, I love this space. It's sort of wild, and messy and just how nature is supposed to be #GardensHour

What a glorious Saturday morning!

Today was my last day on course. It was an exceptional day and we spent it outside putting the world to right.

I've reached the point in my life where rainy Sundays translate to batch cooking for the week. Pies and more pies...

And that's me done! Absolutely the best way to start the new year, with a working arm after 12 months of not having a working arm!

I don't usually listen to that much music but this year my #SpotifyWrapped reflects all the time I spent listening whilst doing my dissertation!

When we moved in the front garden was a sort of boggy grass that never thrived. Last year I dug it all out, sank some old log slices that were free off FB market place, and planted up the whole thing. It's quite small this year, but I'm hoping next year will be amazing. You really don't need grass 🌱

It's a Sunday and it's actually sunny and warm for a change. Had a nice chill out with a coffee in the garden this morning and I have to say, the perennial sun flowers are stunning at this time of year - despite the dull weather they seem to have thrived! 🌱

Tomorrow we start the big garden move around, and say goodbye to the meadow for now 🌱
