In non-baseball news: the spider I’ve trapped under this glass on my kitchen floor hasn’t moved in days. Do you think it’s safe to lift the glass and vacuum him up?

Question for all you historical walking tour fans out there:
Do you prefer to take a walking tour in the morning (10am)?
Or
the afternoon (12pm or 1pm)?

Thanks!

One of my favourite things is finding people caught on film that weren't supposed to be in the picture. Like this man accidentally caught on the edge of the frame of this panorama image from the 1910s by W.J. Moore. Photo from the COV Archives, PAN NIVA.

Telling screen capture from Jimmy Carter's state funeral coverage. Ex presidents and spouses sitting listening to humorous anecdote by Carter's grandson, everyone is smiling except Trump (and secret service agents) proving that he is not fully human. (though we knew that already).

Got to visit one of my favourite YVR sidewalk date stamps today. 1906 is the oldest date found and it’s one of only 3 that still survive in the city. Cement sidewalks were first introduced to the city’s urban landscape in the early 1900s (the aughts).
