This is like a little early Christmas present

If you've never seen it but you like horror you should genuinely consider watching it, it's entertaining, well written, and with such a wide variety of cast/characters there's so many dynamics to play around with

This is seriously one of the best horror series out right now with black people as leads who have independent and complex writing

I really love Mel guys, it's something refreshing about seeing black women get more intricate writing in media and not be dumbed down to a story JUST about race or JUST about how they hate their blackness I hope that makes sense

Jayce wanted to be able to HELP people, he wanted to be able to give magic to the people and all that. And Jayce was Mel's gateway to rebellion and literally everything she'd been fighting to be against her mother and the Medarda name this whole time

I'm not saying like "ohhh Mel gets in the way of JayVik" it's more of a, "hey their paths were always meant to diverge no matter what", Mel was Jayce's access to being apart of something bigger than himself which he says was his big dream

I think also Meljay was alot more symbolic then like just them being a fling or wtv like imo they loved the IDEA of one another, I think they wanted to flourish in the setting of Piltover and to do that they got together
