This looks really fun. My wife and I love deckbuilding games, and I love the original digital Spire, but it looks like this paper version might be too long and complex for her. And if I’m going to play Spire by myself, I might as well just play the original. :(

Yeah! I have a good friend who would love to play FF7 Rebirth.

She has an Xbox Series S, because she was able to get one for around $300 on a sale.

A PS5 or a PC that could handle it is out of her price range.

Yeah, I’ve never been a fan of exclusivity, especially when one console was wildly more expensive than the other like it was back then.

They’re both from an era of FPS games that seems forgotten; making a big cinematic action movie experience rather than farming kills for XP in PvP.

I had a 360, as it made more sense financially at the time than the $600 PS3.

I never got super into the multiplayer for either of these, but the Halo and Gears series are both some of the best shooter campaigns I’ve ever played.

Especially Reach, when it comes to Halo.

I am away from home today, but I’ll check for you when I get home!

This looks really fun. If it runs well on Deck, I’ll bring it to a friends fighting game meetup we’re having in a little bit. The unconventional stuff does really well with our crowd, a lot of time was spent with Two Strikes and Dojo Masters in the past.

Congratulations!!

I am a big fan of art style over graphical realism. I think some of my favorite looking games recently are the recent open world Zeldas and Hades, but clearly that means I am just a sucker for video games that look like paintings.

Which means I also thought Clair Obscur was beautiful. :)

It’s the kind of thing where once it hits a streaming service I already have access to, I’ll put on out of curiosity while I’m doing something else, but that’s about it.

I actually ended up in an incredibly lucky situation where a great deal on a Nord Stage popped up, AND my wife had no problem with me spending Nord money, haha!

It was the most expensive thing I’ve ever purchased but it has been worth it, I sold 3 different keyboards I had that it replaced!

I love it! I’ve had so many gigs this summer too that it’s been a ton of fun but also exhausting!

I think some people are not wired to turn that mode off. Whether it’s good or bad, I think depends on the person.

Me, personally, I have to be in the right headspace to be competitive but some folks treat the FT3 against me on a character I’ve played for ~2 hours like it’s EVO grand finals. 😂

Oh, I have the opposite issue, which is where I will get frustrated with people being needlessly aggressive or trash talking in casual/player queues.

It’s like, dude, it’s 11pm and I’m just in the mood to hit some buttons and my friends are asleep because they aren’t demons, calm down. 😂

Coin pushers and redemption games everywhere.

We had a Round 1 open here, and I was very excited. When they opened, they had a whole set of 3 rows of Vewlixes with various Fighters running on them.

Now they have 3, permanently in single player mode.

What’s even the point?

I was really hoping for something EXVS today. I didn’t think I’d get it, but I was still hoping.

Yeah, I typically don’t dig cop shows but Will Trent is the rare exception. It’s often very fun, with pretty compelling characters.

Plus there’s that dog! 🐶 💜
