Not enough people seem to know about inter-library loans? They say they look for a book at the library and settle for buying it if it isn't available. Let this tiny acct teach you that libraries share books with each other. If yours doesn't have it, they'll ask others for you. For free.
went to a consignment shop today and didnt buy anything. finally starting to feel good to not spend money just because i can instead of being overwhelmed with regret for leaving something behind. (it prob helps that it was consignment prices not tag sale thrift prices but ya know...)

horror is one of my fav things in the world. partly, it is fun to be scared. i watched hereditary for the first time this week and ive been checking the ceiling for creatures ever since. and partly, the horror imagery can get so fucking funny. such as: (gore cw)

(can we go back to putting lip stain on the inside of the lips and looking like we just ate a popsicle as the epitome of kbeauty?)

laundry tips: wash everything in cold. line dry underwear, socks, & anything else you have room for on the line. lay flat to dry knits (sweaters, cardigans) and delicates (dresses). store sweaters folded in a drawer not on a hanger.

the tarrifs are coming. make sure what you own lasts.

fringe really struggles to write compelling character beats. i think what they manage to pull off comes largely from the skills of the actors. like, s3, two entire universes survivals depend on who peter endgames with? seriously? if my worlds survival depended on who peters peter wants to bang...

*bursts through the door of your room, trips on a pant leg, knocks everything off a nearby table while a laugh track shakes the room*.... hey, do you guys have any thoughts on fringe (2008)?

this watch through of the closer, im leaving with one image: peter goldman in a room with reggie moses in the most sinister lighting talking in a sinister tone implying he will never stop, evily and corruptly, hunting down ways to legally punish BLJ. hes not only the antagonist. hes evil.

ive on and off rewatched the closer over the years. its got plenty of shitty copaganda in it they expect us to swallow but the absolute worst has to be the entire s7. BLJ set a man up to be murdered and were supposed to be on her side when the victims mother sues her.

Republicans are pushing again for Medicaid work requirements, pretending it’s about “personal responsibility.” But work requirements aren’t about jobs—they’re about kicking people off healthcare without having to say that outright. 🧵

me rn trying to read all the leisure horror novels i inexplicably picked up on a rampage 5 years ago... why did i get obsessed with a dead publisher? why didnt i read all the books i bought??!
It’s fun starting a new hobby with ADHD because I never know if I’ve found a new lifelong passion or if I’m going to spend $2000 on stuff and immediately lose all interest

i love when a book keeps me on the edge of my seat and more so when its from something published in the 1860s. they spend so much time in the woman in white standing around talking respectably and i am hooked. whats going to happen to these upstanding, genteel, victorian ladies!?
