like i illustrated & laid out a booklet of ghosts for the neighborhood Halloween trail! big boy illustration job, dream gig really. and then there's all the fandom shit i do, stuffs been due this and last month and well next month too

I do but on the fandom side where everyone's much more active and it's also nowhere near as cranky as twitter was and muting & blocking actually works. i just prefer the short text format to instagram etc but screaming into a void is kinda unfun, I don't even open this side that much ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

it's not just the windows 10 being discontinued, that machine is 10+ years old and has been dying for the last 3 (it's been less of a crisis issue since i got the iPad & draw on that)

it's not just the file, cos it's the same with other files too ): stupid machine.
managed to print the covers + address labels by putting them on a memory stick & plugging that in the printer and printing from there but this is deeply Not Ideal.

i feel weirdly chill about it though? at least the half order has literally like half the things we need so i could technically just do another one when things work.

it wouldnt be so bad but we did once have a mouse. Carl saw it in the doorway and they had a staring match. and we put up a lotta traps and caught one in the kitchen and then nothing. + we also had an inspection from some pest control cos there is an issue in the estate but we passed good so... 👍
