but he is tall enough (depending on who he is playing w/ i guess) that he could be a lock too. they are lifted in a line out & are the 2nd row in a scrum and are the engine that moves the props forward. they are typically the ones wearing the scrum caps bc where their heads are in a scrum (last pic)

ur position is largely based on ur body. props are typically bigger, less fast but strong, especially abs & thighs. they are the 1st row in a scrum & lift in a line out. u need to be able to put your body out there but admittedly it is less glamorous, but a good scrum wins games
