If you're not looking for headphones with a mic, I've been wearing Beyerdynamic DT 770s for like 6 years. I adore them.

If you want a mic though, there's MMX 100. They're around $50-70, bought them for my friend and she tells me they're great.

I agree, it's the same with any creative outlet. People are too afraid of not being good.

I don't draw, but I do electronic music and for years I've been told I'm "not a real musician".

Earlier this year my body wasn't holding onto any liquids, was weak and dehydrated for over a week. Waited for almost 3 hours in ER, they checked if I was diabetic. Said I wasn't and yelled at me, charged me $2.8k and told me to leave.
