This is a mostly homebrew world and each character has a long arcing character arc. Took an entire year for one character to finish their primary arc (and it's still not fully closed out as it will tie into another characters arc). Involved kidnapping and torture at one point lol.

Nice!! My campaign is level 1-24. Characters are currently averaging level 5/6 and we've been playing for about a year at this point. The cult of the dragon/tiamat are present in this world and they do have a goal to stop her, but that's not where things end and that's not all that's going on.

My players will eventually fight this level 17/18 anti party that's wandering the world. But that's not smth they'll have to deal with in a long while! It's gonna be chaos and it'll be very fun lol.

This is an item being used by a NB eladrin who thinks they're a mushroom in an 'anti party'. They primarily use a blowdart with specialized poison darts but during actual combat they ride in a lil pack on a bugbear barbarians back. They're a spore druid mixed with assassin.

I personally rule that scroll are still, at base function, still the player/character casting the spell! So, at least in my world, it's already included here :) same with glyphs, runes, spell storing, etc!

All entities within 5 ft of a source of mist (aka a 15x15 ft square/circle centered on the mist source) must make a con save or take 2d8 poison damage. These clouds linger for 2 rounds of combat before dissipating, dealing a total of 6d8 damage per cloud.

Added effect based on your reply: Upon being struck by this dagger, the target must roll a d20. Upon rolling a 17 or 18 all water within 60 feet bursts into a poisonous mist. If within a sealed container, the container bursts.
