as someone who has never read homestuck I followed pretty easily only getting hung up on the fight scene a little but a second rewatch on just that scene fixed that easily. But I'm also used to watching and reading Incomprehensible Media so I'm not sure if I'm the best source

I'm still trying to sort out my own feelings surrounding Silksong, and it is so disheartening to see the community act this way when back in the early days the HK community used to be so welcoming and open minded. Once again, thank you for playing and streaming it, Dan.

Atmosphere wise, incredible. It builds a mood perfectly. The way it tells it's lore in world is amazing. Movement, amazing, and partially a little sad in the way it let go of it's more simplistic roots that made the old combat so enticing. Frankly I don't know what I'm trying to say here.

I miss that feeling that Hollow Knight gives you when exploring that is completely absent in Silksong. I love Silksong. I love Hollow Knight. But I miss it. As much as it sucks, I am so so happy you kept playing through it and didn't hide your issues with it.

I keep coming back to this not because it's a frustrating you didn't understand the game review but rather because it's incredibly funny to think that this is a mindset you can have and has been thought about a lot in such passion
