this is kinda how i feel too.
i had way more fun when i went to lightbox expo than GDC imo.
(for those who don't know, lightbox expo is basically like GDC but for the animation industry, so it has similar vibes but also has an artist alley which is dope)

Well I’ll guess I’ll ask you this now but feel free for other to jump in.
How does one write jokes in games and not get tired of them, especially if you read them over many times? If I show a game I’m working on to someone a bunch of times, the jokes will get old so how do I tell if they’re funny?

is there any communities you would recommend for game writing?
