Now, I'm a retired tech-type. I'm transitioning into a life of crochet, cats, and low-tech jewelry making. Oh, yeah, I still will be a political junkie.

I like to lurk, because some many out there speak better than me.
I reserved two. My knees couldn't handle the long walk, but at least I could do something

Glad to see you here. I lurked on your blog for years. I appreciated your opinions and your writing.

I also lived for your basset photos and remembered when Wembley was a pup. It's the oddity of social media when I feel like I found an old friend who has no idea who I am. 😉

Very true. I have been a lurker for years. I comment on rare occasions, but I am merely a person that lives in Chicago. Capitol Fax allows a reader a view and understanding of Illnois politics, and its complexities. There are so many smart, knowledgeable and witty writers.

You can try Michael's. There's a decent yarn selection.

Also look for a local yarn shop, it's a great place for support.

This is the white kid who survived Parkland. I think there's a rush to judgment, here.

I add red pepper flakes while the meat is browning. Then a little nutmeg and Old Bay seasoning in. The Old Bay was an accident the first time, but the result was good. 1/4 teaspoon for measurers.

It's one comments section that I read regularly. As a non-government lurker type, I find it an invaluable source of intelligent and occasionally snarky conversation.

Wait till next year? That recruiting class should improve.

I think Notre Dame is really underrated.

2)In both cases, I have encountered patient and kind individuals manning the phones. They have taken time to help me resolve issues, answered questions, and have my nervousness resolved by their efforts.

Think of them as we enter 2025, and what they will endure.

I am also a Hooked on Sunshine fan. I just started a mashup with a Hooked on Grannies center. The outer rows will be from another pattern. (TBD)

Happy birthday! The corgi reminds me of an old, dear, furry acquaintance, long gone over the rainbow bridge
