That's what is dehumanizing in the "trans people activists are this way" narrative, and putting blame on that. If people can do it, trans people can do it. As we learnt about all minorities (+women btw.) If it's a human, and humans can do it, then same for this population. Simple as that. Love~

I used to subtitle documentaries & testimonies by trans folks & their close ones, health providers and so on, for French people to see what the english-speaking world was sharing on Youtube. In the 2010's. It was really like any way of being. Needed publicity, but that's all. Lot more diverse too.

Also. When people who live paycheck to paycheck see a homeless guy break down, they think they could be him, have been, or know someone who is, or know him. People who grew up in a bubble and like having blinders on have no idea of this feeling. We just belong together, even if sometimes we fight.
