hard disagree, it isn’t talked about enough imo. in fact, most people to this day still don’t know why it was the mess that it was. that launch should be a cautionary tale about crunch in the game industry.

idk, i feel like most of the complaints i see about denuvo DRM isn’t necessarily about breaking computers, the complaints are more so about it leading to poor performance in whatever games it’s in.

how and when can i play this, i’ve been ACHING for these kinda racing games, been replaying the wipeout series on my psvita to hold me over💀💀

in regards to CDPR, if i remember correctly the company they hired to test the game and make sure it was functioning properly severely messed up and threw a big wrench into the project. i forgot exactly what the situation was but ik that was part of it

keep in mind, when he was making those promises he was just the head of the studio, they didn’t have a trained spokesperson or anything like that. he was simply a developer. sony also was a major driving force behind all those promises, since they were funding the project

apple definitely values design over usability, no argument there. i’m not tryna say apples design philosophy is better necessarily, just that it serves a different group of people. apple isn’t really trying to attract the “power user”

if it was up to the devs, they would. unfortunately sometimes executives and shareholders have other ideas.

sometimes, too much individualization can be “bad”. can’t tell you how many android users I know with phones riddled with adware cause they don’t know how to use their own phone. ios has much less customization, but everything’s more simplified and easy to use for the everyday person (imo)
