Today marks one month since I’ve had my bottom surgery. I am ecstatic with how it’s turned out, and the fact that I don’t need to tuck anymore.

At times, I still think this is a dream. It’s been five years I first came out as #transgender.

So today. I realize and learned that the main reason, I dated men. Was because I was trying to force myself to be heteronormative and to stay under the radar. I want to cry because I’m still trying to understand why I would force myself to convert, and I’m trying to address my own internal misogyny.

I had my bottom surgery two weeks ago. Healing up as best as I can. Out of the hospital now.
