One can only, in the video game:
-Kick them
-Shoot them
-Stab them
-Blow them up
-Set them on fire
-Electrocute them
-Let them get mauled by the living dead, and other..things..

idk i am not a psychologist or anything so maybe it's as simple as my brain not being as good at eye-tracking in the way osu requires, while my pattern recognition is better for these other games (for those who don't know, think guitar hero-style top to bottom notes, i.e. inverted ddr)

like d4dj the general highest is 15 (there's one 16) and i can FC 14s, bandori goes up to 30 and i can almost FC 28s, sif2 mostly 13s and i can FC

i played osu for years and most of these i've only played seriously on a tablet for 1.5 years? and sif2 was only for a couple months, it got shutdown

like okay context i played osu for years and never really got past like 5* maps, which is NOT that high a level at all, but in d4dj, d4dj, and sif2 i'm able to clear many of the highest difficulties and FC just under those

(i know they're totally diff games but still with the time put in)

Hmm well I admit it's been awhile but most everything I ever made turned out like a hypersaw or square wave lol. I guess I would be interested in anything that you think would fit in with like, various rock/metal genres? Full spectrum from like pop-ier to heavier like djent/etc

Personally I've always just been pretty bad at making what I want, so something that like, and the only advice I ever got was "just mess around" (simply doesn't worl for me sadly)... so maybe like how to break down sounds and figure out how to do what you're looking for?

Honestly a little thankful I basically started with it bc a lot of times I learn about a shortcoming compared to another DAW and I just... never knew it was an option so it didn't bother me lmao

I did start to look at Justin Guitar a little but without paying idk how useful it would be, and since I'm admittedly lazily self-taught all I can really think of is like, mindlessly running scales but I really want to like... actively think about making progress and the steps I need to take

More or less like "self-taught and brute forces my way through things I can't play but I would actually like to get good, not hurt my wrists more, and play/compose more technical stuff than power chords (djent, higher chord voicings, wider scope on riffs, etc.)
