I get that it is hard to win the World Series with only one team as the standard bearer. However, Canada has multiple teams in the the NHF and none of them have won the cup in over 30 years. There is something wrong there.

Florida geek here. Because of climate issues,real estate values etc, Fla does not grow many oranges anymore. However, Fla still processes OJ with fruit mostly from Brazil.

Make people pay social security tax on their full income, not just the first $168K. If that isn't enough to make social security solvent, tax the rich more some other way. We are a rich country. We can afford to take care of our retirees.

“Calls are for emergencies…” says who? There is etiquette about calling too early or too late, but phone calls have been the primary source of outside communication all of my life.

I do text, but I find the ding-wait-type-ding-wait-type of texting more intrusive than a conversation on the phone.

Boomer here. An interaction that requires a dialog is much easier to do by phone or in person than by text or email.

People do not have to drop everything to answer the phone when I call. Call backs are fine.
