💯. Eliminating the salary cap would be the fairest, easiest solution to keep SS funded.

Third possibilty: these campaigns can not be fairly compared

The press conference made me uneasy. Being honest

The interview screamed "establishment"

Both a 5 year old and a 15 year old don't have the judgment skills necessary to navigate interactions with an adult without his/her parents or guardian present. Therefore, and rightfully, children CAN NOT consent. Disgusting and deeply wrong, she is.

This is the leadership we need right now.

How very authoritarian of him.

Let's channel our anger to where it belongs: the GOP. They have the votes to do all of the things that should be done for "We the People" but they refuse.

100%. Eliminate the wage cap. The only solution that makes sense to me.
November 10, 2025 at 5:59 PM
None of the above. Remove the wage cap from Social Security tax. Wealthy Americans wont even notice it in their paychecks. Problem 100% solved.

I am a liberal and I am asking honestly because I want to understand: what is the plan? I am seeing MLG parties dripping with gold, piles of seafood, and dancers, in the majority with no empathy for suffering Americans. Open the government so we can fight back. We can't fight while we are starving.
November 10, 2025 at 1:16 AM
I am heartbroken at where we are. But we need to be clear about where we are: we are in the minority. We need to get past this shutdown to move forward and help Americans who are suffering. But Americans will now KNOW Republicans do not care about our healthcare or hunger. Proceed accordingly.
November 10, 2025 at 12:25 AM
I have been 100% supportive of the fight. 40 days were not wasted because now everyone knows that Republicans don't want to support SNAP or health care. Since Dems have no control in Congress, they have no voice or leverage in this situation. Reopen the House, Snap, then full speed on Epstein files!
November 10, 2025 at 12:00 AM
This is a bitter, ugly, jagged pill. A necessary pill, and when peeps start paying their outrageous ins. premiums, they will remember what party denied their subsidies. It is essential that the House begin working again for exhausted government workers. This will also restart Epstein matters!

Nope, Lincoln was a republican. Troll. Bye.
November 9, 2025 at 11:02 PM
Hmm, I am 100% pro democracy in theory and practice, but our republic is essentially a two party system. Voting for a third-party candidate tosses my vote into one party or the other. Example: when has a third-party candidate won in the US?
November 9, 2025 at 10:56 PM
I love the "idea" of third parties. However, in "practice," not so much.

Surprisingly, sandwich throwing is quite common, resulting from the combination of conflict and meal-time hunger. Not saying this is ok but helps explain this bizarre reaction, which is not felony behavior.

It seems cancelations are in major cities, both red and blue states. For example, Anchorage is one of them.

That's a bit cheesy
