Truly seems like clean air in public buildings, *particularly* schools should be a common sense, non-partisan issue we can all agree on.

Joe, are you suggesting that Canada should nationalize parts of the auto-industry to compete with China, or does “step aggressively“ refer to industrial (carbon?) policy to incentivize the private sector to onshore?

incredible takes.

It’s not possible for any of Vancouver’s “rival” fanbases to hate the Canucks more than me, as a Canucks “fan.”

The creepiest element (and that’s saying something!) is the “they always come back” sentiment. These losers are 💯 sad to be left alone/ignored online like they doubtlessly are in their personal lives.

I’m not convinced that capitalism and (meaningful) action on CC mitigation are incompatible. The solution will require policy, to be sure, but markets do work. Centrally planned economies don’t historically demonstrate success on CC action.

Thanks, this is clearer. So you’d advocate for the purchasing agency (AGLC) to be directed by the government to limit U.S. firms from commercial participation.

I appreciate the clarification.

Who is “they”?

I’m not opposed to individuals deciding to boycott US products (count me among those that will voluntarily take part). I’m just confused by the rhetoric that Danielle Smith is somehow absent if she doesn’t use the state apparatus to confiscate private inventories?

Your suggestion that “Alberta do the minimum” and remove US liquor from stores is nonsensical. Given liquor is sold by private businesses, are you advocating for the expropriation of private property to make your point?

I will forever associate the Yashin turtleneck with hockey decline. Not even Wayne Gretzky could overcome turtleneck-related decline!

I swear to god, if Petey starts wearing a turtle neck I’m gonna freak out!

You could be totally right, and that means the entire bleak, bungled, decade long, stupidly accidental rebuild will have produced nothing. That would leave Quinn Hughes as the sole star on an otherwise mediocre team - a year removed from what felt like a short-window was open.

Serenity now, man

I think that’s right. In close contention might be his completion to AJ on 4th and 5 when the game was still tight.

His throw to Devonta, though, we’ll be talking about it in 10 years as “the dagger that killed the 3-peat”

Is it officially Kevin Patullo szn next year, or do they look outside again?

Maybe I’ve deluded myself, nostalgically thinking about previous seasons, but I can’t help but think he’s playing with one or more consequential injuries.

This is entirely reminiscent of how this management group allowed the Boudreau rumours persist, letting things fester well past when they’d made their decision. Whatever one’s view is of their hockey acumen, it should be also said that they’re terrible leaders of people.

Petey for Dahlin, 1:1. Who says no?
