Those were days, takes me back a bit. There was a plate, a glass and a decanter for everything. Never had the corn one though. 😉

Many years ago with a heavy cold I had a little nip of whisky, purely for medicinal purposes of course, and half an hour later when I went to bed I took night nurse. I think I slept for 24 hours whilst having crazy dreams. I think it took another 24 hours to get my brain straight.

Doesn't correlate with the Spanish lifestyle. They normally eat breakfast between 10.00 am and 10.30, although they probably started work at 8.00 am, and dinner anytime between 8pm and 10pm but they are the longest lived and healthiest people in Europe.

Here in Javea been stinking hot with extremely high humidity. Not good news when the sea is still very warm and the October cold fronts are approaching. Makes for huge storms.

I watched it, quite delightful. I'm a tiny bit older but in the sixties that was my look with the hair and those little line we drew under our eyes. Then grew my hair the same as her as I got older. Lot of people didn't realise she was a very competent actress, dancer and singer. Way to go Twig.

Many of his paintings were of Javea where I live. This could be from Javea. There is a bronze statue of him in the Port.

I'ts Fiesta time here in Javea and the main area for music, shows and presentations is in the road about 70 metres from our apartment block. Last night disco from midnight to 5.00 am but hey it's Spain and it reminds me I'm still alive. To old to be in the thick of it now mores the pity.

Spains not perfect but it's a darn sight better that what is happening the UK.
