They want to be famous and the method is probably not the core component of that. Writing perhaps seems the most accessible way for them to do it, and of course it’s not.

You should do what you love! It’s so important!! If writing doesn’t do it for you, it’s okay to stop? You can try again later? Perseverance when a thing is challenging is not the same as giving yourself psychic damage over and over when it isn’t necessary.

And writing is neither a fast nor easy way to make money. If that’s the goal, there are much better ways to accomplish it.
