For The Love of a Horse is where I share my wild horse photography from the open lands of New Mexico. Each stallion, mare, and foal carries a story of freedom, strength, and family. Their untamed beauty and spirit deserve to be seen and remembered.
The day before Thanksgiving I went out looking for a little quiet, and I came across this mare and her foal traveling with a small family band. The stallion was doing exactly what he was meant to do, guiding them away from me and the many others that were stopping along that dirt road.
