general consensus w/ most is that until you're 18 it's all "god i can't wait to have my basic fucking rights" and even more so if you're in an abusive family
then you turn 18 and it's all "but the *minor* is more vulnerable and might get hurt" like yea fuck you, you're now fine keeping it that way?
