I use what's called 3hpi ( holes per inch) you can use hessian but its hard to get thicker materials through. Great for everything else though. I'll find a photo 😊

Hi, I use a locker hook needle and canvas and pull loops through. I use old curtains and jeans mainly, those thicker fabrics. 😊
