Every time the song comes up in my rotation, which is often, I remember your take here. This reply was the last thought in my mind last night as I was going to sleep and that's when I knew I had to find it again. The lyrics "Somebody told me / you had a boyfriend / who looked like a girlfriend / that I had in February of last year..." isn't meant to say "I heard you're single", it's meant to mean ["You and I have very similar tastes in the people we see and I fit the bill of your type so please take me back"](https://genius.com/3212426) so if ANYTHING them accidentally dating the same person before and after transitioning makes this lyric hit harder because it's proving that not only do they have a similar type, but the /exact same/ type, proving to the singer that he knows her type inside and out because it's also /his/ type.

Got dispensed Thog's quarter today
A beat up quarter with hammer pound marks and what looks like teeth indentations and scratches on the edges. The head side image is barely still visible. A beaten up quarter with brassy dirt marks on it. Dents line the edge. The tails side is only distinguishable because of the tarnish that fills the recesses but otherwise the edges of the design have been beated to near indistinguishability. A side view of a badly beated quarter. It is no longer flat and a lot of the nickel outer coating has been damaged leaving a copper patina on one half of the edge.

I'm sorry this is the most insane take I've stumbled across, this is NOT about how low people believe their sense of smell to be, this is about the fact that GETTING 10K RIGHT NOW IS A LIFE-CHANGING AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR ALMOST EVERY PERSON I KNOW.

Saw a very big ibis (photo does not do it justice it was duck sized) and very confidently rolled down my window and say "WOAH Big Tern 😃" so confidently I almost didn't flinch.
