A good few of my recent doodles have been of and for @maplerubica.bsky.social and @inabatomochan.bsky.social. Here's a compilation of them! Most of these were based on discussion, some just intrusive thoughts.

5 different pieces of varying degree of doodle, featuring either Maple Rubica the rosy maple moth or Inaba Tomoko the red panda: -The top left shows them from the waist up as cat people instead of their usual animals, with Maple's blonde and pink hair forming a sort of tabby pattern, and Tomo having a calico pattern and fluffier tail with her two shades of red hair and white fluff accents. They are wearing their sleeveless crop tops without their jackets, making cat paw poses. -The bottom left shows a mini moth Maple in a low detail version of her normal outfit having been put in the Swear Jar as it is labeled. The lid has holes in it and she's against the glass visibly yelling, likely more swears. -Next to that is a Maple's chao design, a pink based flight type with yellow accents on the stomach arms and feet, but with pink and yellow moth wings and a little black and pink bow. Her emotion orb is the disgruntled spiral with half lidded eyes, like when a chao is woken up. -In the bottom center is a chibi Tomo with a a cute little bean eye expression mostly in their usual outfit, except their jacket is roughly twice the size as normally proportioned so the sleeve belts are dragging on the floor. -On the right is a full body drawing of Maple with out her jacket, and Juniper, a partially white cat with patches of dark brown tabby at her feet. She has her hand up to her forehead and is slightly leaned over saying "Where is my sweet baby?", unable to see Juniper obscured in the shadow of her breasts while she licks her paw. Her skirt was accidentally mirrored here.

Okay, in my brain the two are a set but since I'm a month into Star's staff forms ref and only finished One of them, I'm going to go ahead and post her Druid outfit reference (that I finished in October 💦)
I have a preference for simpler outfits I find, but little details and patterns go a long way.
A reference sheet of Star's Druid outfit, showing two shots of her at 3/4s angle facing forward and backward, as well as her sunflower staff. At the top is a row of color references, including some extra for her blue haired form and mouth. The outfit consists of matching green shoulder less dress that comes up right above the chest with short puffy sleeves connected to the side and a slit down her left leg, with an ivy pattern at the bottom. Over it is brown belt with a side bag attached to it, held shut by a paw shaped button strap, and a sash tied around the belt with a water pattern (with note that she has other sashes). She also has her labradorite necklace, fingerless gloves like her usual pair but in two shades of brown, and her footwear is a fairly simple pair of knee high adventurer boots that come to a point at the knee, with a single strap near the top. She has a witch hat that matches the green dress, with a limp point and a flower crown. The flowers are magenta, inspired by cat mint, and white, which could be any tiny white flower, and is a perfect spot to add her sunflower staff in it's stored form. The staff otherwise has a long crooked medium between a stem and a branch coming from the sunflower head. The front facing reference shows her as a half-elf, while the back facing one is in her cat form showing how her ears go through the hat, and her tail pokes out of the dress.

Where do we go from here?
Thoughts about “AI” Yes it’s: The slop The theft The brainrot The loss of work The crumbling of creator rights The destroying of the environment and infrastructure But it's also the destroying of trust in anything that you’re not seeing with your own eyes right in front of you. Wonder now turned to the narrowing of eyes in immediate scepticism seeing something magical. Questioning the realness of everything from a stilted written apology to profound works by students in school. It feels like a slow poison to creativity and humanity at large. Dani and Star in their witch outfits riding on brooms through a full moonlit night, accompanied by Borb and Peony. Dani's wearing a purple dress that trails into black with sparkles and a magenta underside, where the neckline and black corset both have a batlike effect, chains around the waist, sheer black torn leggings, black boots with chains and heartshaped buckles, a bat wing necklace with a heart pendant, and a black squiggly hat with a purple underside and heart shaped brim. There are potions on the hat, waist chains, and a leg strap. Her broom has dark wood with a blackish brush with the orbish bat Borb balanced on the front with starry eyes and a heart-banded witch hat. Star is wearing her green druid dress and hat with the low neck line, round sleeves, ivy design at the bottom, flower crown, brown adventure boots, fingerless gloves, labradorite neckalce, and side bag. Her sash is pumpkin patterned this time, and the broom she's on is a form for her sunflower staff. Peony, a round fluffy tuxedo cat, is perched on the brush of the broom with her pink bandana and a little star-banded witch hat. The night sky is full of stars which are reflected along with the moon in a body of water below, with mountains further in the background.
