I focus on the Chilean case and the resurgence and transformation of the Nueva Cancion Chilena movement during the country's social unrest in 2019. Through the analysis, I highlight the role of music in shaping public discourse, (counter) memory, and solidarity.

And not only that! The symposium was accompanied by an art exhibition to envision feminist solidarities across space and time, in everyday life, with an outlook towards “the future we want to see, right now, in the present.” Part of the process of curating this exhibition here:
