Outside work, I love dancing, yoga, travelling, museums, writing, photography and film. My heart melts at the sight of little dogs and donkeys. If I see a cute notebook, there is a high chance I'll buy it. If you have any sky or dog pics, please feel free to share them. They’ll make my day! 🐶 6/6

For my current 1-year postdoc, Seeds as Soothsayers, I’m exploring the varied ways of reading the weather. Can our modern weather forecasts—like your favorite app —be traced back to histories of co-created knowledge? I want to know how we used to negotiate our relationship to the weather. 5/6

I’m now transforming my PhD research into my first book. This is very exciting stuff, as I’ve wanted to be an author since I was a little girl. At the time, I imagined it being a strange fantasy, scifi or magical realism novel but this will do for now. 😉 4/6

I recently obtained my PhD in history & philosophy analyzing the search for recurring weather cycles in the 18th century. 🎓 I researched the development and uses of the “theory of atmospheric tides”: the atmosphere’s variant of sea tides! 🌊 3/6

My research focuses on human-environment relationships. 🌍 I’m especially interested in environmental vulnerability, multiple epistemologies, the co-creation of knowledge, the tension between biopolitics and bottom-up agency, and the (dis)illusions of control. 2/6
