Yeah, I was using their own word here. Such snowflakes, they get offended when people point out how cruel and anti-American some of their ancestors were. Instead of this mindset, It could easily be “when you know better you do better”, but they don’t think it’s better. That’s the real issue..

Oh yeah , you’re quite right. They were claiming that any visitation of history is somehow accusatory towards them because of their heritage, which is ridiculous. Of course erasing history has the added effect for them to allow the repeating of these injustices. That’s their end goal I guess.

All this supposed guilt some of them have about what their ancestors did…. No rational person is going to blame them for their ancestors’ actions. We only have control over ourselves. And on this account, many of them are failing miserably and forgetting pledge of allegiance words. …for ALL!

As a white person who knows a lot of white people, I think you put your finger on it here. If only they/we actually did the things our country’s founding and core ethos was supposed to have been about, none of this would be a problem. All men (and women) are created equal? Duh? Not that damn hard!

I think JD won’t have the cult following of trump and the spell that trump has had over these people will be broken.
