Found this a bit amusing and had to share it somewhere.

Using Windows since XP up until last couple of years has made my PC experience feel more and more alienating as time went on.

A fellow Zen user here. Try Vivaldi if you haven't. It has some of the best theme customization out there as well as some outstanding features you might find interesting.

At this point the trend seems to be dying which I am quite hopeful about.

But it also plays into a usually far-right pattern of thinking, that can go like "nobody thinks that, everybody knows what I know, and thinks what I think, but they are afraid of the backlash that telling the truth incurs, so they are pretending in order to score points"

It is kinda perfect for this because it not only plays into the suspicions of women that somebody is falsely presenting themselves in order to be perceived in more of a positive light or try to manipulate them.

The more its popularity grows with apolitical crowd the higher the likelihood that it'll eventually be somewhat co-opted by the right and used as a tool to enforce traditional gender norms by
labeling anybody whose interests don't align with a desired gender definition as performative.
