It’s finally here! Now shipping: the complete works of SOV auteur Jon Christian Møller, officially licensed (and subtitled) for the first time on DVD. Best known for the Norwegian Drillbit Massacre, it’s time for the rest of his works to receive their due. Includes 30 pg. booklet

Only a few SOV titles are actual masterpieces, and Charles Pinion’s Red Spirit Lake is one of them. RSL started as a response to Pinion’s film project, Killbillies, one of the great unrealized underground films, falling through.

It’s been a long, strange journey, but the Jon Christian Møller DVD set will finally be ready to go soon. Stay tuned for updates!

Digging through stuff and yet again questioning my decision to start picking up posters. I love them all, but it’s hard to justify when the frames are just 1 inch larger than standard, but three times the price.

The final issue in the original run of Bill Landis’ Sleazoid Express. The infamous Ecco: The Story of a Fake Man on 42nd Street. All of the initial SE issues are in their own class, but this is the zine as a definitive statement. It’s also one of the great works of literature of the last 40 years.

By far the sketchiest item I own: the 8th Vidimax catalog. This members-only mail order outlet gained notoriety for proprietor Louis Ferriol’s bizarre fetish productions like New York Centerfold Massacre and Haven of Horror (aka Roasted Alive).
