When I read this stuff I start to doubt my own sanity. How can implementing far right policies defeat the far right? What am I missing?

Importantly this is not 'just' spying. Its a co-ordinated campaign of disruption, designed to neutralise left wing movements and actors. I can't understand why none of the big movements - Labour, trade unions etc - seem to think this is problematic.

I find it extraordinary how little fuss this is generating. The security services infiltrating trade unions and political parties, taking positions of power, influencing decision-making processes, and collecting personal data on all involved.

So this figure is actually strong evidence that most work of executives is just substance-less illusion building. Tricking people into think there is something there.

And *finally* we have a good use case for AI. Let's sack all executives!

Yes, but this narrative ignores the incompetence of senior management, the £££s wasted on pointless consultancies & ever increasing layers of useless middle management, constant & unproductive striving for centralised control and the abject failure to adapt to the digital world. Much can be done.

Are UUK lobbying at all? We are seeing policy change after policy change (across successive governments) that harms UK universities, but I don't really see VC's pushing back. If they are lobbying, they don't seem to be doing it very well.

presumably though, if they charged crim dam, there would be a similar need to apply Ziegler proportionality, as only minor damage (as per Colston case)? Or have I read that case wrong?
