Yes!
Well done!

I feel like we should address the 8 year wait for the therapy somewhat.
November 28, 2025 at 11:43 PM
Oh. That makes sense.

Whats he been up to anyway? I just went to check his Xitter but that website is bugged to fuckery.

I honestly just feel sorry for him. Like, not deeply sorry; there's just the crumbs of pity as someone who has also been lost in the psychosis sauce before (but more the transcended beings telling me this world isn't real kind).
November 28, 2025 at 11:18 PM
Fair enough then.
I don't really know much about the guts of all of this. My general outlook on AI as a tool is pretty neutral; the marketing and awareness campaign so far is piss poor and is mostly serving to annoy anyone who has some basic computer savvy.
November 28, 2025 at 11:12 PM
Idk. I can see things like health imaging being ran through AI to look for barely perceptible, early indicators of disease and improve detection. A good thing.
But also bastard health insurance using this to prematurely hike rates based on new signs of risk. Data centre owners making bank from both.

Having a large compute resource to lease out privately is probably the monopoly the tech giants are looking to secure. Most businesses will find it cheaper to rent than build own in house engines 🤷🏻‍♂️
The public use will be fairly small scale by comparison.
November 28, 2025 at 10:59 PM
Yeah. The mass data centre roll out feels a little optimistic. I still think the big players will probably be able to sell their big compute services to things like government, universities, biomed, health services, military and research and development.

I think it'll be here but it will continue to be applied in mostly niche or specialised ways and not something most individuals will use in their personal/daily lives.

Do you have a copy-paste template of this message ready?

Big fan of playing Valheim for its absolute absence of telling you there are realms and technology far beyond bronze smithing.

I do like the monkey saving baby story though.
I just feel the need to use my archaeology degree when I can.

This one, depicting a she-wolf with Romulus and Remus from near Aldborough (Leeds Museum) is my favourite.

I love art of animals made by people who had clearly never seen said animal. But it follows the conventions of this coiled, abstract mane, claws and a tail that wraps around its belly.

The lion generally represents those calling for Christ's crucifixion/the Roman state/ actual lions.
The lamb is Christ, his physical death/martyrdom and that of his followers etc.
November 27, 2025 at 10:42 PM
Pretty sure thats a lion eating a lamb
November 27, 2025 at 10:27 PM
This is also my first cross stitch. I should've picked smaller but Cloud of Darkness is so cool. Look at them!
November 27, 2025 at 9:06 PM
Aww. Youre all so sweet. I'm really glad I shared this. The first quarter or so took about six years in between bad mental health episodes. I did the last 3/4 over the last 3 months.

Final fantasy sprites are really good for it
November 27, 2025 at 9:03 PM
