If you pick CIC, make sure you do the right setup, and not do it with shares.

Have you thought about a CIC instead? They are designed to be more fixable while getting some benefits as a charity does. You can also have paid directors with non-profit title. There are also many funding circles available. You can also convert a CIC to a CIO later.

As Matt Forbeck said “it might herald the end of a golden age of D&D , but other games may yet thribe” I have to agree and hope others flourish - actually not “hope” but “will” because we’re an fantastic community!
