I used to work in social media before being ordained in 2014 in the C of E. I wrote More TV Vicar? (DLT). Telly addict, film fan, policy wonk, ridiculous optimist. A kid in Leeds once called me "a clown what's good at stuff". Vahva is Estonian for cool.
What sort of Black Mirror shit is this in the centre of Sheffield?

This is an incredibly unusual novel, not what I expected at all but rekindled my love for Classics 25 years after finishing my degree in it. I really enjoyed it. A book about hope and the power of stories.

Does anyone else cast the characters in novels as they're reading? I'm reading Glorious Exploits by Ferdia Lennon. The Greek characters speak with Irish accents in it and now I'm picturing Barry Keoghan as Lampo and Paul Mescal as Gelon!

Lol, hilarious continuity error on The Rig season 2 episode 4. No lead in the landline phone! How did no one notice? phone call was a big scene.

Heads up that I'm on Woman's Hour on Christmas Day at 10am. I'll be listening on catch up as I'm taking a service when it's on! All a bit scary and exciting. It's on the theme of comfort.

Lol, apparently Keanu Reeves wants to post this in my church Facebook group. I'm tempted to approve it and reply 'I love you too!'

Fantastic page turner. Think Matilda if it were set in a Zombie Apocalypse. I saw the movie first and loved it,not realizing it was based on this book. Having seen the film didn't spoil it for me though. I'd like to read more by the author.

Here is the mosaic icon I made of her this year. Her halo is the ammonite - her symbol and she is wearing a jewel because St Bede writes that her mother had a dream that she would shine like a great jewel across the country - this is included in the lovely prayer for today
