Having a mellow afternoon working on two different quilt tops. This one (kid quilt #13) is all scraps from this year’s projects, from kid quilts to totes to gift quilts. Borders next up for this one. #disappearingninepatch

My 12th kid quilt for
2025 & I think it’s my favorite: a rainbow sherbet of colors with a confetti backing, quilted using a wavy stitch pattern and variegated rainbow colored thread.

I’ve reached my goal of a quilt a month for kids in hospital, so I’ll make 2025 a baker’s dozen & make 1 more.

Three more seams to go on this quilt too, then I can play with borders. The points have been a bit frustrating, definitely a learning experience.

During Covid lockdown, I decided to change my earrings every morning as a way to find joy - 5+ years later I’m still doing it. These new shinies from @wyrdingstudios.com are now in rotation (ok, front of the line, to be honest!) and the gift pair was lovely too.
A small box of earrings: rainbow dangles, opalescent round beads in a row, blue and green beads, and small dark purple heads, all wrapped with silver wire accents. Rainbow beads wrapped in silver to make a dangle earring, shown hanging from my ear!
