I’m in good standing now (2 of the attendance occurrences fell off my record in October) but none of the transfer applications I’ve made have moved forward

3 of the 5 attendance occurrences were for this migraine that I’ve had for 13 months… I now have FMLA protection for migraines so any missed shifts don’t count against my attendance record, but last year I hadn’t been working there long enough to be eligible for FMLA

so beyond shredding my right arm on the brick wall as I fell, breaking my big toe, and all the pain in my knees from the fall plus any associated medical bills, falling down the stairs cost me $5k and a job offer from the specialty I wanted

my boss just texted me back… she had no idea that attendance had any effect on my sign-on bonus

by the way, it was one 12-hour shift that I missed… I fell down the stairs on my way to work and still worked my full shift (with the broken toe)… but missed the following night because by then all the pain and selling caught up with me
