Also, Trump is no hero here. He launched TikTok ban as far back as 2020 when he issued an executive order highlighting his concerns about TikTok specifically.
He then ordered ByteDance (TikTok’s parent company) to divest its interest in the operation of the app in the U.S.

I’m so sorry this community is gone, but given the way the CEO is up Trump’s behind, I likely won’t ever use it again. This reeks of a sham worse than what congress did to ban it.
