No kings, no slaves, no Nazis. We had wars about this!
Hey! I have a little brother!

No, he does not know that. Nor does he know the words “pashas” or “Armenians.”

That same figure for Washington DC is 36%, if you want to compare apples to something kind of like apples. Ideally it would be more like 36% or less of households *with* a car, but the "big car equals success" mindset is entrenched even in cities where it's transparently ridiculous.

And the kind of six-year-old.

Australia's Sandover River. Or possibly the Todd, if the cruise isn't scheduled to coincide with the Henley-on-Todd Regatta.

So, is this a big test?

Though Night Watch's nod to staff officers, "[B]y accident or design every army needs, in key if unglamorous posts, men who can reason and make lists and arrange for provisions and baggage wagons and, in general, have an attention span greater than that of a duck," also rings true.

MAGA stomachs just aren’t prepared for exotic ethnic foods like mustard or onions.

My mother had that surgery. The good news is, it worked a charm with no complications! (The bad news, insofar as there’s any, is that all surgery takes a lot out of you for a while.)

I had a co-worker who had previously dealt drugs before going straight. One hop.

I also had a tiny uncredited bit part in the movie "Rudy," starring Sean Astin. Two hops.

Sean Astin was in "White Water Summer" with Kevin Bacon. Three hops, and there go the missiles!

Be careful, East Side kids always get what they want. They don't even have to ask, all the West Side kids back down.

"Randy Clarke for Mayor! At least he's not Bowser or McDuffie!"

...nah, not seeing it, even if it worked for Anthony Williams.

Only 32% of respondents knew enough about Gallego to have an opinion, though that put him tied with Stephen A. Smith and ahead of Gina Raimondo (23%) and Josh Green (15%) in the awareness sweepstakes.

Khanna's net approval was +13%, deep in the bottom half but way ahead of Rahm Emanuel's -8%.

A few days ago UNH released a (very!) early primary poll, and on the Democratic side Khanna got 0%.

(But he did beat Ruben Gallego, who literally got zero--nobody in the sample chose him.)

Dare I ask?

It is and it isn’t. The direction taxes go is opposite, but the skill set needed to make it happen (and time it correctly!) is fundamentally the same.

I actually worked on what I believe to have been the most recent decoupled DC tax provision, which allowed married same-sex couples to file as married even though they were required to file as single on their Federal return.

Alas, one bad day at the Supremes could make that relevant again.
