Because we have a multi-tiered justice system. One for the ultra-wealthy and the well-connected, one for simply collecting money from people who work for a living and one that dispenses "justice" for those who aren't ultra-wealthy and politically connected.

When it comes to bathrooms, I tend to leave a shit rather than give one.

It's sad to think that the low-information "people" among us managed to get the candidate who validates their racism and hatred into office again. Though, I'm not sure they really did. There's too much smoke surrounding possible chicanery with the vote, but no investigation. Something's off.
