I'm finally farming up mount grinds I've been putting off for well over a decade. I love these old mounts so much. I just wish draenei didn't always have a chronic case of Tiny Mounts. It's more than a little painful for 99% of mounts.
I'm so happy to finally have these two after so long.

The new lean emote's great. I get to hang out with Brann in delves while I wait for CDs to come back before a last boss.

The new lean emotes are SO fun. I've been going through my raid farm alts just to look at them all. I love that they have idle loops as well. What a fun addition.

Vaard's 7th legion set is finally being retired as he himself retires to buy that coffee shop and pick up some for-hire work on the side.
There's still placeholder pieces and the belt eludes me, but this is the vibe of his new 'affordable average guy adventurer' set. Art of this will be next.

This bountiful event is a lot of fun.
Rivendare's Charger in particular has elude me for well over a decade after seeing it drop once in my noob days but I didn't roll on it, not knowing both factions could use it. That cursed memory has been erased. I can rest easy and no longer be haunted by it.

After 7 years in the same mog, I'm finally retiring Vaard from the 7th Legion set and retiring him from the Stormwind army as a whole. He's getting that coffee shop and moving to a more basic adventuring armor set that I can show off later once I get the last pieces for it.

When setting up just off a beach in the first hour, we had the misfortune of a giganot that wandered onto said-beach. We had to pack up and leave asap.
Not even endgame tames are safe against a roaming giga.

Speaking of Vaard originally being a monk during Mists before his class reboot, his original design was a bit different as well. I don't have his original art from 2012, but I have a 2018 redraw that was redrawn again as he is now.
He's come a long way and hundreds upon hundreds of drawings since.

Vaard originally used to be a monk back in MoP before I re rolled him to paladin which he's been ever since.

Level 1 Vaard shortly after arriving on Azeroth, little self-made language dictionary in his pocket, which may or many not be accurate as he tried to figure out the language.

Reading the article again, it far exceeded even my unrealistic expectations and left nothing wanting. There is nothing I could think of to add to what they showed. This housing system has even more than I could have ever asked for.
My slice of life art will be a reality and I couldn't be happier.

I'm so excited after seeing the new WoW housing preview and showcase videos. It's so much more than I ever dared hope with WoW's old engine. Well done, Blizz, I haven't been this excited about a new feature in so long.

Bringing this back with all of the player housing news I'm excited for. Vaard will finally have his tiny, human-sized home he lives out of. Every doorway has some wear and tear on the top of the beams where he's smacked is head over the years when not paying attention.

One of my favorite Highlander!Vaard pieces from FFXIV. Still have yet to settle on a pale skin tone for this version of him. It's either too yellow or too ashy but eventually I'll figure it out. Drawing that chest piece was a lot of fun though, a lot of fun.

12 years of Vaard Art means running out of ideas a lot without doing repeats, but sometimes you just have to draw them for the sake of drawing them for fun.

Vaard's pauldrons shall forever and always be a danger to himself and others. Technically he keeps his snacks stored in there to the point sometimes loot pops out when hit, like a pinata.
